Rachel, Can you edit your post to include your MasterCAM file (in a zip folder) so I can take a look at it? Also, I’ve changed your post title and used the category “help”.
I’m not sure if this fully answers your questions, but MasterCAM defines a “dirty operation” as:
“A solid or toolpath operation that has been modified in some way (changed parameters or edited geometry, for example) since its generation. The system marks dirty solids and operations with a red ‘X’ in the Solids Manager dialog box or Operations Manager. When an operation is dirty, it must be regenerated for the toolpath or geometry to match the parameters.” It basically means that you have made changes to your toolpaths and they need to be regenerated. This is done by clicking on the button at the top of your toolpath manager that looks like a little bolt with a red “X” next to it. This is similar to in SolidWorks where if you change a parameter you have to rebuild the model by clicking on the little traffic light icon. It just refreshes the model to incorporate the changes you have made. Let me know if this is the problem you are having or if it is something else.
